- 2 cups King Arthur's white whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 TBS. coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup ice cold water
- 5-6 organic apples
- 1/2-3/4 cup maple syrup
- 1tsp. cinnamon
- 3TBS. white whole wheat flour
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Crust: place all ingredients in a food processor and mix. Sprinkle flour on a dry surface. Roll the dough into a large circle and place in pie pan. Create a ridge around the rim. Place in refrigerator until the filing is ready.
- Filling: Peel apples and slice into thin pieces. Place in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour into crust and place in oven for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove from oven and let sit for about 15 minutes or more so the liquid thickens and cools. Voila! Enjoy!
