Need a chocolate fix? These bite size brownies are a perfect snack! Made with raw walnuts, dates and cacao powder they are loaded with antioxidants, omega 3’s, vitamin E, magnesium, iron and fiber. You can enjoy them for breakfast, pre or post workouts, snack time or dessert. They are also quick and easy to make. Great to bring to dinner parties too!

Raw Brownies

Ingredients
- 1½ cups walnuts
- 1½ cups pitted dates
- ½ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ tsp. vanilla bean or liquid vanilla
- ¼ tsp. sea salt
Instructions
- Place the walnuts in a food processor and process until the walnuts are a fine flour.
- Add the dates, raw cacao powder, vanilla and salt. Process until they form a sticky mixture. You can roll them into little balls or pat them into a pan.
- Enjoy!!
Notes
- The longer you process in the food processor the more the oils will come out of the walnuts. You usually need a little oil to get them to stick so be patient. You can stick them in the refrigerator but I personally leave them out on the counter in a glass container. They don't last long! Trust me. 🙂
