Chocolate Decadence! My oh my!!
Made this chocolate cake for my husband’s birthday. I added vanilla coconut bliss ice cream, melted grain sweetened chocolate and crushed macadamia nuts on top! Get creative!! This is a crowd pleaser!! Delicious, decadent and delightful! It’s a healthy, easy-to-make, scrumptious recipe that everyone will enjoy!
Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- Dry ingredients
- 1 2/3 cup white whole wheat flour
- 1 cup agave
- ½ cup coco powder unsweetened
- 1 tsp baking soda –sift
- ½ tsp salt
- mix all ingredients in a bowl
- Wet Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup water
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1 tsp vinegar
- ½ tsp vanilla
- mix all ingredients in a bowl
Instructions
- Make sure rack is in center of oven. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
- DO NOT OVERMIX
- Lightly oil cake pans, flour, pat out excess flour
- Fill each cake pan ½ way
- Bake 20 minutes at 325. Take cakes out of oven and let cool.
- Chocolate sauce
- Place chocolate chips and almond milk in a sauce pan on medium low heat.
- Stir constantly until chips are melted.
- Silvered Almonds
- Lightly toast almonds in a pan on the stovetop on medium heat.
Assembly
- Cut a slice of cake, put a dollop of Coconut Bliss ice cream on top, drizzle chocolate sauce over and sprinkle almonds on top.
- Voila!
