Hello friends!
Pesto is one of my favorite things to make! It is very simple to make and you can pack it with goodness! I like the recipe below but sometimes I throw in hemp seeds or different greens like parsley or kale to mix it up. You can use it on sandwiches as a spread, in veggie hummus wraps, in pasta or even as a dip for crackers. Sometimes we even use it as a base on a pizza crust. Vegan Pesto

Ingredients
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 1/2 cups basil
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
Instructions
- In a food processor pulse the garlic until it's finely chopped. Add the walnuts and pine nuts and pulse again. Then add the rest of the ingredients and process until fairly smooth. Add to your favorite pasta and indulge!
