Hello! It’s been a hot summer here in Los Angeles and this is one of my favorite treats to make during the heat. It’s so easy to make and only takes about 2 minutes! I always like to make it with fresh homemade almond milk, but if you don’t have that available I would use unsweetened almond milk. You can also do so many different combinations of flavors. Sometimes I make it with honey, cinnamon and vanilla. Sometimes I add a Tablespoon of raw cacao powder. It’s really good with coconut or cashew milk too!

- 1 1/4 cups almond milk
- 3 TBS. chia seeds
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cardamom
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla bean
- 1 TBS. maple syrup
- Add all ingredients together. I like to use a glass mason jar. Stir well.
- Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes and then stir again.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or overnight. Top with berries, granola, chopped almonds and shredded coconut! Sometimes I like to add cashew or almond butter to make it even more hearty. So good!
